Fresh off the Vine

Dear SWC Family and Friends, Making plans for some summer refreshment? Maybe a lighter schedule, or fewer responsibilities? That can seem elusive in the heat of life. We might think an inner freshness requires travel, time off, or a visit to a farmers’ market or garden, when the Source of all renewal and soul abundance is always less than a breath away. Jesus has given each one who follows Him a life that is Fresh off the Vine—the Holy Spirit’s power for life and godliness. As we live our daily lives in the Spirit and in godly community, we have everything we need to image Christ in the world. God has given us (PC and Pas. Jenn) a sense of urgency for this message, knowing that our world is hungry for what only God’s people can offer—Hungry for His Church to be a flourishing “fruit basket” to the world. Invite others to join you. Though this message is meant to be lived out every day, your guests will enjoy a feast of love and joy on Sunday.
