Whether it’s the line at the grocery store or in the emergency room, waiting is a difficult and sometimes discouraging process. It is something we usually try hard to avoid. The early followers of Christ experienced the hardship of waiting too, as they hoped for the new kingdom to come through Jesus. Though it looked different from what they expected, He used waiting to prepare them for the coming of the Spirit. This Mothers’ Day, we’ll have a special panel including Suzy Cornwall, Mary Martin, Christine French and Pastor Christine, who will share with us some of the times that they’ve experienced God’s silence during waiting, and how God used their story of waiting on Him to grow spiritual maturity. This unique conversation in our Been There series will offer stories of God’s faithfulness in the middle of the waiting wilderness of life.
